Seneca Family of Agencies Responding to Youth, Caregivers
As of September 2021, Seneca Family of Agencies is the community partner providing the county level, in-person response to the Family Urgent Response System (FURS) hotline calls. FURS is a statewide, toll-free hotline available 24 hours for current or former foster youth (up to age 21) and their caregivers to call and receive immediate, trauma-informed support by caring and trained professionals. When an in-person response is needed in Orange County, a Seneca team (a clinician and parent partner or youth support counselor) will provide responsive and supportive services where the youth or caregiver is located.
