New Group Provides Information, Social Opportunity for Caregivers

New and experienced resource parents looking for guidance, encouragement and community can find all three at the County of Orange Social Services Agency’s (SSA) new Fostering Together group.

Resource parents have the opportunity to share their experiences, ask questions and connect with SSA staff and special guests. The goal is to improve the well-being of resource parents and, ultimately, preserve placements.

The group is open to all SSA resource parents. It meets the first Thursday of every month from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Children and Family Services’ office in Orange. For more information, call (714) 704-TALK (8255) or email ResourceFamilySupport@ssa.ocgov.com.
