Extraordinary Partnership:
St. John’s Lutheran Church of Orange

For more than 130 years, St. John’s Lutheran Church of Orange has served and cared for the spiritual lives of Orange County residents. That same care and compassion is also touching the lives of children and families involved in the Orange County foster care system. A partner in the County of Orange Social Services Agency’s (SSA) Faith in Motion collaborative, St. John’s leaders and congregation are on fire to support, nurture and encourage vulnerable children and the families caring for them. Below is a snapshot of the congregation’s work and an example of how other
churches and faith-based organizations in Orange County can start impacting lives.
